Eddie Li – Entrepreneur, Architect & Luxury Lifestyle Pioneer

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Eddie Li built a dynamic career across art, architecture, and luxury commerce. After studying Fine Arts in London and training as an architect in Boston, he launched ventures in hospitality, opening Boston’s largest Chinese restaurant before becoming a general contractor in Los Angeles.

His career took a pivotal turn in 1996 when he was a top 3 finalist in the Shanghai Grand Theatre design competition, prompting his move to China. From 2000–2005, he made waves as the exclusive importer of Cuban cigars for China, later opening a celebrated cigar shop and Cuban restaurant in Shanghai’s Xintiandi, featured in Cigar Aficionado.

Since 2005, he has focused on luxury construction for Amiri, Coco Chanel, Coach, Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana, Lulu Lemon and many more luxury brands as a licensed general contractor in China, blending architectural expertise with high-end development. A true polymath, Eddie Li’s journey reflects innovation, cultural fusion, and an instinct for elite markets.
